Fleet Operations ,Maintenance and Management Training.

April 15 @ 8:00 am - April 26 @ 5:00 pm EAT

Course Overview

Corporate transport management has strategic importance for your projects and the organization in general. In an increasingly competitive market, cutting costs has become just one element of success; managers need to consider delivery times, flexibility and innovation when choosing suppliers and contractors. Financial, technical and negotiation skills are now as essential as the specialized skills of logistics.

Fleet management is a function that allows organizations who rely on transportation in their day to day transactions, to remove or minimize the risks associated with vehicle investment. Effective fleet management leads to improved efficiency, productivity and reducing overall transportation and staff costs, whilst ensuring compliance with government legislation. While this role can be managed by either an in-house fleet- management department or outsourced provider, this course explores the benefits, costs and risks that exist for companies choosing to manage the function themselves.

This course prepares participants to manage the corporate transport function as a whole. We explore a wide range of technical issues, as well as whole-life and life-cycle costing methodologies and a range of personal skills to support informed decision-making. Managers will leave fully equipped to provide excellent transport resources to your business.
