Understanding Extended Producer Responsibility Training/Learning Visit

Course Overview.

Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) is a legislative measure aimed at supporting a green transition geared towards eliminating waste and pollution. The ERP regulation places the responsibility for end-of-life costs of products and their packaging (such as recycling and recovery) on the producer, whether they are a manufacturer, exporter, or another role. The aim is not only to alleviate the financial burden on local institutions but also to encourage producers to design more sustainable products, thereby supporting the circular economy.

This hands-on course will impart skills on key concepts, elements of EPR schemes, waste management, environmental regulations, sustainable practices, waste reduction strategies, recycling initiatives, and compliance.
