Training Objective
The course aims at equipping delegates with an understanding of cross-border issues in payment systems, challenges and how to surmount them.

• Cross Border Clearing and Settlement Systems
• Cross Border payment Challenges
• Risk Management on Cross Border Clearing
• Principles of financial Markets Systems
• Money laundering and payment systems
• Regulatory Framework for Clearing and Settlement under cross border arrangements
• East African Monetary Union (EAMU)
• Kenyan experience- settlement of fixed income securities and equities.

Way forward After the Training

Participants will develop a work plan, through the help of facilitators that stipulates application of skills acquired in improving their organizations. ASPM will monitor implementation progress after the training.
